Every church we've walked into has a version of the same story. Somewhere in the building there's a person — usually a volunteer, sometimes a staff member — who built the A/V system, configured the network, and is the only one who knows how any of it actually works. It functions…mostly… until they move, or burn out, or just stop showing up. And there’s no way you can recruit new volunteers, because the system is too unwieldy.
Then Sunday morning becomes a problem nobody budgeted for.
Capital Hope Media builds systems that don't depend on any one person to hold them together. That means equipment your volunteers can learn in an afternoon, networks that are documented and manageable, and a setup that the next person can actually inherit. We work with churches and faith-based nonprofits, and we’re based in Southern California.
We design and install audio, video, and lighting systems for worship spaces. We manage networks and IT infrastructure for churches that need ongoing support, not just a one-time setup. Occasionally we produce video content — donor videos, sermon bumpers, ministry storytelling — when the work is the right fit.

Stephen Hale founded Capital Hope Media with over two decades of professional A/V installation experience and more than fifteen years managing church IT infrastructure. He also holds graduate degrees in theology and has spent decades inside churches and nonprofits as a practitioner, not just a vendor.
That combination is unusual. Most A/V integrators don't understand ministry culture, or what it’s like to make decisions through consensus. Most church consultants don't know how to do acoustic modeling or configure a network. Stephen does both. That means technical decisions are informed by what actually happens on Sunday morning, and ministry conversations are grounded in real technical expertise.
For installations, Stephen assembles a team of experienced specialists matched to each project. Churches get access to skilled, professional tradespeople without paying the overhead of a large firm. The work gets done right. The price reflects what your church actually needs.
